my son has a sonata he bought in 07, great mileage, handling, extras and ride. The car is spacious inside and rides like a much heavier more expensive vehicle - I remember the older hyundais I also remember the first people I knew that had one had I think the elantra both he and his wife each weighed more than 250 lbs and they had 165,000 miles on their car and were quite pleased with it. I would not hesitate to buy one myself and if I had a dealer who said he couldn't get a simple common part as a clutch piece - I would be getting a new dealer as no one I know has had any trouble getting hyundai parts for the last 5 years
