Best deal found: We found a very nice and inexpensive apartment, Mero Vigla Apartments, in Imerovigli on Santorini (only 15 walk into Fira). It easily accomodated our family of four (two adults and two teens), it had a kitchenette, a gorgeous pool, AND a stunning view of the caldera from its private patio. It was a great deal at 115 euros per night!

Best deal found: Casa Santa Domingo a true five star hotel for around 100 dollars a night. Amazing!

Best deal found: We rented an apartment which was a wonderful experience. We had an oceanview and lived like locals for a week, all for $50 per night. I would recommend this to anyone.

Best deal found: Crossing the Mekong River in Southern Laos near Champasak. Best deal was fresh french bread every morning for about $0.10 cents US. Buy it from children selling on the streets. Another deal was $3 US bus ride that went from Vientiane to Pakse. (approx 8-10 hours)

Best deal found: I used a $400 voucher for my cheap flight and our group got 2 nights free lodging out of the 5 we stayed. We also talked to a local guide who told us the few good local restaurants that were reasonable.

Best deal found: Last minute cruises are very inexpensive. $99 per person, 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. You must be flexible to leave within a 60 day or less window. We've learned to be so flexible, even with a 1 year old. I took my family on this cruise. The first stop was the island Cococay, owned by the cruise line. So much to do with very little or NO MONEY. Beautiful beach, free barbeque chicken lunch, free refreshments, inexpensive beach appearal. We had a blast this day and it didn't cost us a thing. I highly recommend it. Maybe we'll see you there!!! Best deal found: This trip was a Christian mission trip so besides paying for the plane tickets, we stayed for free at Christian mission hostels in Quito. All we had to do was help around the house! The picture is me on the equator in Ecuador.

Best deal found: The Cruise was the best deal. $799 for seven day cruise on one of the biggest boats I have ever been on. The RCCl Liberty. Came with a balcony and 140 dollars credit for fuel charge rebate. Great desinations and ship was immaculate.
