The following ISPs are have received decent reviews overall. But be sure to read the fine print before you sign up with one. NOTE: Clark hasn't personally tested any of these services and cannot comment on the quality or reliability. He is simply providing you the information with which to make your own decision. These services are constantly starting up and shutting down, so one that is here today may be gone tomorrow.

NetZero and Juno - Both companies offer a $9.95 "unlimited" package.

Wal-Mart - Wal-Mart has teamed up with AOL to offer a basic plan for $9.95 a month. 
                     
Worldshare - Formerly "Freelane," Worldshare is offered in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. Rates are as follows: Unlimited dial-up hours for $9.95; High Speed Dial-up Service for $13.90/month.

chilitech.com - $9.95 per month with a year contract. Make sure you can get a local access number before signing up.  
   
695online.com - Internet service for $6.95 a month. Your credit card will be billed $26.80 right away, which covers three months of service plus a one-time setup fee of $5.95. If you don't like this, don't sign up.

lafn.org - For residents of California. It costs just $60 a year because it is run almost entirely by volunteers.
