FHA refund 
Some FHA homeowners are due money back from MIP, or Mortgage Insurance Premiums paid to protect the FHA from the risk of owner default. Many people owed the money are being contacted by third party companies that claim they will obtain the refund for a percentage of the return. Don't give your money away -- get it for free by visiting hud.gov. Click on "Consumer Info" and then "Get your own HUD mortgage insurance refund - don't pay someone else." Or, call 1-800-697-6967 for assistance.  
 
Unclaimed assets 
Did Grannie leave you an inheritance? Did you move and forget to collect deposit money paid to utility companies? Did you forget about a small bank account that you had in high school?
