As I travel about, I have been asked hundreds of times about Matthew Shinnick and Bank of America. Matthew is a man I never met. However, his false arrest at the hands of Bank of America outraged me to the point that I took up the cause for justice. Matthew has been deeply touched by the support of people all over America. People everywhere understood the reality that what happened to Matthew could happen to any of us.

I suspected in the first few days of my protest for Matthew against Bank of America that the company lacked the moral conscience to do the right thing. My goal was to spread the word of his story and to give you the power to punish BOA. On both counts, this campaign was a huge success. By your telling, you have removed more than $50,000,000 from the bank. Even more important, many who don't do business with Bank of America won't in the future. Through other media coverage on radio, TV, newspaper stories, and the Web, millions of Americans now know Matthew's story and the evil visited upon him by Bank of America.
