What to know when shopping for appliances

Are you looking for a new washer and dryer combo? Don’t think that all you have to do is look at the brand name and then find what color you want. The Consumer Reports June issue shows that the most important thing to look at is the model. Whirlpool has one of the highest rated and also one of the lowest rated washers in the market. The same thing is true with Kenmore. So when you are looking for a washer and dryer, don’t just be fooled by a brand name. Also, check out what Consumer Reports has to say about brand reliability. You don’t want to get on a first name basis with a repair guy, so make sure you check out how often each person has problems with different branded appliances.

Sansa Connect changes the face of music

The Sansa Connect, which works in conjunction with the Yahoo music subscription service, has gotten great reviews by technology people. You pay for the player and a $140 2 year subscription fee. You are then able to listen to any music under the subscription service. You can put music you like directly on the player as well. One of the coolest features is that if you are in a wi-fi zone you can stream music straight to the player as well. Remember though, if you decide not to renew your subscription, you haven't actually purchased any music, so you lose it all. If this is a way that you like to listen to music though, give it a try. It's easy.

Doctors are making house calls again

The one size fits all plans just don’t work and are wasting an awful amount of taxpayer money. These creative, outside of the box ideas are the types of things that are going to change our outdated health system. It is very similar to our school system that is a one size fits all mold. One system doesn’t work equally for all.

The website to go to in order to order your C.L.U.E. report is choicetrust.com. Fill in some blanks and you’ll have to give your social security number, but then you can check out your personal auto and your personal homeowners report. They do charge you if you need a homeowners report on more than one address.
