If you go to an ATM and there is a camera peering back at you, you probably feel a little more at ease. But will that camera really help you? Apparently not, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. One man recently was robbed as he pulled cash out of an ATM machine. When he realized that a camera caught the whole thing on film, he asked to see the footage. But the bank refused, citing “customer bank confidentiality.” What bank was it? Bank of America, of course. What about the rights of the customer who got robbed? Fidelity Investments has spent a ton of money on an artificial intelligence tool that calculates exactly how you’re doing and how much more you need to save. It’s called “My Plan,” and Clark tried it out. It was a short series of questions that let him know he is okay financially.
