Mar 30, 2009 -- The healthiest (and unhealthiest) restaurant chains

Clark is not exactly known for his healthy eating habits, but today he wants to share a list of the healthiest (and unhealthiest) restaurant chains.

Four chains got an F -- including Applebee's, IHOP, Outback and T.G.I. Friday's, according to a report published by Men's Health magazine.

On the other end of the spectrum, the highest score (A-) went to Chick-fil-A. No chain earned an A+.

In between those 2 extremes, you'll find a variety of chains you probably have eaten at in the past. See the complete listing of the healthiest restaurants and the unhealthiest restaurants...and bon appetit!

Unfortunately, Clark won't be able to answer any questions submitted via commenting. If you have a question, please try posting it to our message boards.

Avg. rating: N/A

If you eat salad (carefully) of course its pretty healthy, but check again at the egg McMuffin - even tough there is 300 calories, check out the rest of the info... NOT GOOD.
  • Sothern Faviorite
Were was Kyrstal listed? You can't beat one of these little cheese burgers when they are hot off the grill. I guess somewhere between b- to d+, but their so good every now and then.

There seems to be some cherry picking here when it comes to some of these restaurants. I concur that it is possible to eat healthy at McD's with egg mcmuffins and asian salads. But how about Ruby Tuesday who has the freshest and most healthy salad bar just about anywhere. And their lemonades have real fruit in them. That is a lot better than McD's.
