Feb 27, 2009 -- Opportunity for entrepreneurs during a down economic cycle
Americans have long been using their ingenuity to make things happen. However, Clark does worry about us losing our mojo by focusing too much on decisions coming from Washington. There's the danger of forgetting how much we as individuals are capable of doing.
There are those who say, "We're headed to socialism." No, that won't happen, Clark says. He is, however, concerned about too much government interference in the economy. Yet he wants to encourage you to not lose nerve if you have an idea for a business that could help your fellow Americans. There's no better time to launch a business than during a recession.
Clark recently spoke to an entrepreneur who outfitted an office for around a dime on a dollar by buying equipment from a failed business. There's always some kind of opportunity to be had during a down economic cycle.
Unfortunately, Clark won't be able to answer any questions submitted via commenting. If you have a question, please try posting it to our message boards.
