Nov 13, 2008 -- Major spam source now out of commission

Have you noticed less spam in your inbox today? That's because an Internet service provider called McColo was knocked offline overnight. McColo served as the U.S. staging ground for three-quarters of all the spam in your inbox, according to top computer security experts.

Unfortunately, Clark won't be able to answer any questions submitted via commenting. If you have a question, please try posting it to our message boards.

What others are saying

  • Spam
A government agency tries to monitor spam. Forward your spam to spam@UCE.gov
And those Nigerian or other bank account fraud jobs I forward them as well to fraud@fbi.gov. There is no such e-mail address as fraud@fbi.gov but I hope I put a little fear in these scammers so that they are always looking over their shoulder.
