Jun 20, 2007 -- Corporate credit cards can hurt you

If you are late paying your bills it can really hurt your credit score. The amazing thing is that if you have a company credit card, and your company is late in paying the bill, that can affect you too. It can happen through bureaucracy or just plain laziness on their part. If you rely on your employer to pay the bill, monitor the card online to make sure that they aren’t dragging their feet and hurting you in the process.

  • Corporate credit cards
I had a corporate credit card with a previous employeer. I left the company about 16 months ago and continue to get letters from collection agencies for the total amoount due (10,800.00). The credit card was never used for personal use only for business and i had to turn in receipts(and i did) for all expences or it the funds would be deducted from my salary. I checked my credit report recently and this debt appeared as seriously past due. I have no other debt.

    What can i do??
