Guaranteed medical work

One hospital system is now beginning to guarantee their work for 90 days. This is amazing that in medicine some are now beginning to stand behind what they do. Why hasn’t this been done until now you may ask? Well, medicine has always been considered different from other industries that must focus on customer satisfaction. Having warranties with a surgery is something we shouldn’t be surprised of, we should be surprised if they are not offering it. This kind of creative thinking in the medical industry could revolutionize it.

The mob and the moving industry

In the 1990’s Congress decided to disband the agency that oversaw moving agencies. Since there was no oversight, organized crime then began to move into the moving industry. Usually the moving company will seem really nice, give you a decent price, and then hold your possessions until you pay a ransom. If you want your possessions back you are basically forced to pay the ransom. How can you get a good mover then? If you work for a big company that has a contract with a mover, use them. Also, go to www.moving.org and hire a mover that is part of the “certified mover program.” Also, when you are talking about how much it will cost, ask for a binding estimate. If the word binding is not there, the estimate means absolutely nothing. So watch your back and follow these steps next time you move.

Bullying by credit card companies

The US Senate has introduced legislation that, if passed, will curb many of the corrupt practices of the Credit Card companies. The banks are playing dirty pool. Pay your bills in full, when you don’t owe them money it makes you strong and the banks weak. When they try to push you around, tell them you are going to call your Senator’s office. You have the power, don’t get pushed around.

MySpace lets predators roam

MySpace.com is not taking predators on their site seriously at all. If you have kids that go on MySpace, make sure you watch out for them. What is wrong with this company that they just allow registered sex offenders roam their site? Someone even set up a MySpace page for Clark that he didn’t want. He tried to call them and get things fixed and they treated him like dirt. Shouldn’t they take just a little of the huge amounts of money they are making to protect their consumers?
