Debris on the road

Studies have shown that debris on the road has become a major problem. Mattresses are one of the main things that fall out of the beds of trucks but there are many other hazards as well. 155 people were killed in California alone in the last 24 months by debris falling off of people's cars and trucks. So when you are attempting to move things yourself, make sure you tie your load down. And when you think you have it tied down, tie it down some more.

Free prescription drugs!

Helpingpatients.org is a website that helps consumers see what assistance might be available for them when purchasing prescription drugs. If you really want to save money though, buy generic because they are usually dirt cheap. This website gives you access to over 475 public and private assistance programs that, if you qualify, can help to make your prescription drugs free or nearly free. Check it out!

Outdated land lines

Over ¼ of people in their twenties have no home phone, only alternate forms such as a cell phone. This is such a great thing because land lines have become so outdated. So make a conscious effort to see how much you use your monopoly phone line in your house. If it is only on rare occasions, ditch it and save yourself some money.

Don't be fooled by phony site!

The website set up by the credit reporting agency Experian is bogus. The name of their website sure makes it sound as though you can get your credit report for free, but that isn't the case. When you go to the site, you are automatically enrolled in a "free trial," for which you will pay $12.95. Don't ever pay to see your credit report at this site! Instead, go to the site that is sanctioned for viewing your credit report for free, really. It's annualcreditreport.com and you can get a report from each of the agencies for free.
