As for employers who might take offense to this, you may want to take a look in the mirror. Just because you give someone a paycheck doesn’t mean they are happy. To most workers, being rewarded and appreciated is what matters. Tell individual employees what they’ve done to make you proud. And create conditions that make people happy. Also, workers should remember that it’s a two-way deal. If you’re working in a good job with great benefits, you have to deliver.
