TV on your cell phone and everywhere!

Clark bought a new cell phone this weekend and he now can watch TV on it. He gets 24 channels on the phone, including CNN, several other news programs, sports, fashion channels and country music channels. Clark has had it for about 10 days, but he probably won’t keep it. Still, the cell phone industry hopes to make a lot of money on this venture. There are televisions everywhere these days, and companies are trying to come up with more places to put them.
In other video news, Skype is also offering free video phone service on phones. And, people love it. The company is adding 1 million new customers every six days around the world, so it’s a huge threat to traditional phone companies.

Used is the next new thing!

Who would want something used? Basically anyone who wants to save money. People are buying used books, cars, DVDs and even exercise equipment these days because you can get unbelievable deals on almost new merchandise. Used exercise equipment is worth almost nothing once it’s been purchased, so it’s a great deal. And one site has really helped that market grow. It’s craigslist.org. Clark saw one listing for an elliptical machine recently that was originally $800. It was on sale on craigslist.org for $50, and the person probably won’t get that much for it. The same is true for used cars. Buying used could turn out to be the next new thing!
