Experienced mechanics can make up to six figures, although the average is about $30,000. It’s also another job with lots of openings. Computer support specialist positions also pay well, at between $30,000 and $50,000 a year. Electricians and plumbers are in high demand, as well. Truck drivers make about $40,000 a year and more people are needed because turnover is so high.
