Jul 14, 2005 -- Discuss your finances with loved ones
Clark admits that he does not always follow his own recommendations. During his second daughters birth he forgot to bring the Durable Power of Attorney for healthcare. His wife constantly reminds him of this one occurrence. Clark then talked to his wife about how to access his financial information if he died. She did not want to think about his death, but Clark felt it was really important for her to know his accounts and passwords. Dont assume your loved ones know how to access your financial information. Show them how to access it and you will be protecting them.
