One of Clark’s disgruntled listeners has been signing him up for magazines to get his goat. One day last week, for example, he received 12 magazines in his mailbox. But it’s amazing how quickly he's taken care of the problem. He thought canceling these magazines was going to be a serious hassle, but it’s actually turned out to be fairly simple. That’s due in part to the fact that the people who answer the phones know about this issue and are very happy to take care of it. Not to mention that one company usually handles subscriptions for more than one magazine. So, when Clark calls one magazine, the customer service representative can usually find a lot more in the computer and cancel them too. So, it just goes to show that sometimes these things aren’t as difficult as they seem in the beginning.
