Jun 02, 2005 -- Cheaper high-speed Internet in some states
During Book Tour 2005, Clark has heard several questions about affordable high speed Internet and when its going to be available. Well, there is a new partnership between SBC and Yahoo that could be the answer youre looking for. Depending on which phone service you have, you will pay either $14.95 or $19.95 a month for high speed Internet. The catch is that you must have SBC phone service and line. But that is a terrific price for the actual high speed connections. People living in the following states have access: Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, Connecticut, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, California, Michigan, Oklahoma, Nevada, Kansas and Missouri. So, basically, if you have your phone with SBC youre probably eligible. SBC is being extra aggressive and you are the recipient now and in the future. By creating more competition, Clark predicts that youll be able to get high speed Internet for $10 by Christmas 2007. Well keep you posted.
