A hot new enterprise around the country is “geek squads.” Yes, there was an actual company named Geek Squad that was recently purchased by Best Buy. They hop in their cars and go to your house to help set up your systems correctly. And now these technical teams are popping up all over the country. They charge anywhere from $30 to $130 an hour. If you pay thousands of dollars for a computer network, making sure it works is very important. A hundred years ago, we didn’t even have refrigerators. But we needed an expert to install and replace them in the past. It was part of the deal. Now, “digititians” are becoming more commonplace and will soon be accepted just like a TV repairman once was.
