Can the lawyers now come in and take our house or vehicles or garnish our wages since we owe so much and I am now disabled and on s.s. and cant work but my husband does but we have a large medical expenxe monthly and the credit card companies would not work out a deal with us... We just dont have any money and we have a teenage daughter... Idont want to file bankruptcy and loose my house or anything else we own... Ive always have had excellent credit until my health started slippin.... Can we just not pay any of this back and just try down the road to better our crdit without getting an attourney or getting in a lot of trouble?????? Thank you....
