Here's another home remedy that's also good for the environment. To clean your silver flatware... Start some water to boil on the stove. Take some aluminum foil and line a glass/pyrex baking pan with it. Lay the silver on the foil and sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over it. Pour the boiling water into the pan and let sit for about 5 minutes or you can take the silver out. <br> You will notice that the tarnish has transfered from the silver onto the foil. Rinse then clean in dishwasher (alone or without any stainless steel utensils). They will come out much better than any expensive cleaner or polish can do.
