Howard, I red around the collar when you misrepresent USAA. I am a retired Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) but cannot join USAA because the membership rules did not allow it when I was on active duty. Now certain enlisted ranks (active duty) can join. It is an officer organization although they advertise that most anyone can join. Officers dependents (never been on active duty) can join just because they are related. I would like to join and have written to them asking to have there membership rules relaxed but their board only meets every 2 years. In my opinion their membership rules are biased and very predjudiced.
