The trick to making majic Jack work with ease , is to go to Start, Run ,<br> type in msconfig and go to the general tab and "check" the selective startup button (third choice from the top) and make sure before you close the window that you don't have any unnecessary programs trying to run under your "startup tab" like Open Office 2.0 or any other word processor programs.<br> And NEVER pull Magic Jack out of the USB port while the computer is running or it will be ruined. Always ask permission to eject Magic Jack through the Eject Icon on the bottom right corner of the tool bar.
