I still have a use for my landline. In addition to alarm & satellite connections, I have 3 numbers assigned, each with a different ring, to the one POT line for phone, fax, and automation control. Till a wireless line can give me alarm connection as well as 3 different numbers that can access it for cheaper than my land line, I'll still need one.
