I am an optimist but I think gas prices are going higher. Europe is paying around $7.00 per gallon and we are riding where demand is above supply in oil now and that appears to not be changing. But new technologies are coming out Rentek with a new technology in Coal gasification, Li Ion batteries in hydrogen fuel cells in Honda car, 99 Mph and 400 Miles on one tank. A few years and they will be available. Rising prices for gas just brings on better technology.
