I have one now, and it's AWESOME. I tried using my headset through my computer's sound device, but the sound quality suffered. After plugging in a standard phone to the jack, it sounds perfect. I use it like a regular phone. I would recommend it to anyone. Just use a real phone plugged into it, instead of the sound device in your computer and a mic. It'll work flawlessly.
