We listen to Clark as offten as we can and do agree with not owing anyone. However we do like the cash back, and fuel per gal discounts that come with some credit cards. No having said that we pay off our cards before the cycle is up and therefore cary a zero balance. How much do we save during a year doing this worked out last year to $1,568.00. We have talked to merchants that would rather take the credit card than give you a 1 or 2 % discount for cash. We know this does not compute as the credit card companies are charging the merchants at least that much to honor the cards. Again not for everyone but we earn a little intrest on our money in the bank and do not pay intrest to the credit card companies (for 20 years now) as we take all the discounts.<br> Not for everyone but it does work.
