Amen, Christa! Our self worth being tied to what we own vs. what we do has gotten out of hand. I once heard Maria Shriver say of her mother, Eunice Shriver, (founder of Special Olympics), "I NEVER saw my mother excited about a new dress or a new pair of shoes." Think about that -- and what that tells/teaches our kids.
