Recently, I wanted to move my money to Wachovia since it was receiving such high marks for customer service. But lately, I've heard one bad thing after another concerning this bank (allowing large checks to be cleared to rack up on overdraft fees of smaller checks; stealing from seniors, etc). I'm sick of businesses advertising as though they are doing the consumer a favor, when we know any "deals" they give us are to benefit them, not us.
