How right you are! In 1999 after a cancer diagnosis, I suddenly viewed everything in a whole new light and realized what was important and what was not. I didn't buy any clothes for one year because I wasn't sure what was going to happen to me. Looking around my closet, it suddenly made me aware of how many "clothes and things" I actually owned. I dressed very well that year and nobody noticed that I wasn't wearing new clothes. Trust me, nobody cares what you are wearing except you. If they do, I'd suggest you hang around other people. I still have a lot of clothes, but I've had the majority of them for many years and they still look great. Take care of what you have. Been shopping lately? The new stuff looks worn out anyway. Get out and enjoy life! Stop trying to impress people who really don't care anyway.
