I am amazed at how people would trust their sick child to a mid level provider with a Masters level education versus a pediatrician with a doctorate plus 3 years of a dedicated 60-80 hour week specialty residency. <br> Fortunately, many communities have extended hours clinics staffed by pediatricians.
