I just returned from Hawaii on Tuesday. Tourism is down, especially on the Big Island. We stayed in a nice resort 2br/2.5 ba lr/din rm/and full kitchen for $102/per night. We also took a glass bottom boat tour on a large boat with 3 couples. Our family of 3 paid $100 for a 21/2 tour,which included lunch and entertainment. Hotels are cutting their prices. However, Oahu/Waikiki area is still an overpriced tourist trap.
