Alright I admit it... as much as I hate to, my turbo Volvo gets significantly better gas mileage when I drive ultra-conservatively and "lock" - mentally - the transmission in 5th. As long as I seldom down-shift and stay out of boost as much as possible, the trip computer registers unbelievable, but accurate, fuel economy. Correct tire pressures help as well. It IS possible to get good fuel economy with a turbocharged car...just don't use the turbo.<br> <br> Now supercharged vehicles...that's another story ;-)
