And how does all this explain why the price of gasoline (according to the AJC a couple of days ago)in the U.S. equates to over $8 a gallon in the UK? or roughly double the cost in Europe or the UK same as Hector was a pup for decades past. The cost of fuel is UP everywhere except in countries where the price is controlled by the government which owns and operates the wells and refineries.<br> So...driving slower will definitely lower the cost per mile driven as you say, but is not going to affect this world wide problem one teeny weeny little polka dot Bikini one bit.
