Thanks for all of your comments. I think that we as Americans are conditioned from an early age to equate success with stuff.<br> <br> I am a big believer in continuous improvement, but I think I used to think buying that great outfit or that nice piece of furniture would somehow "improve" my day, home, or life. I now realize I am happier with fewer things that I cherish.
