There is a company that calls themselves OYP, who called my business, spoke to the receptionist, and tricked her into authorizing an online advertisement for my business. Not only did my receptionist not ask what the distribution area was, but she had no authorization in the first place to make this so-called authorization. We then got a bill for $400, which I refused to pay. I live in a small town, and I have used the same advertising for the past 11 years which has served me well in this relatively small community. Now we are getting harrassing phone calls from this company. I listened to one of the messages...it sounded like a 14 year old girl who claimed she was from the legal department, and that If I didn't pay, would be forced to take legal action and that "my credit would be screwed". Didn't sound very professional to me. Anyway, this has been going on for about 6 months now. What can I do to stop the harassing phone calls, which are tying up the phone line?
