While smaller cars require less gas than larger cars, there are sacrifices that come with smaller cars too. I prefer a larger car that is roomer and more comfortable with larger trunk space for traveling with the family. Smaller cars don't allow for as much comfort when traveling and may cost MORE by having to rent a van or fly when traveling.
