As a new immigrant from the UK, I am astounded how Americans are quite happy to pay good money to RECEIVE phone calls - this means the cell phone company gets paid twice each time a call is made.<br> I am the only one that thinks this is outrageous? Why has this situation been allowed to take root? Americans are all about not accepting poor service and bad-natured charges, yet they are quite happy to accept this. Unbelievable.
