I haven't had an overdraft in years for two simple reasons. Does anyone remember those check ledgers you used to get with checks. and do you remember math from grade school? If you keep track of all of the transactions,and subtract them, you should know how much money is in your account.<br> I also set up a floating overdraft protection loan, that will cover any outstanding overdrawn balance in my checking, these have reasonable interest on them, much cheaper than any credit card, but I rarely use it.
