When you said you were mad about the chewed shoes, you meant that you were mad at yourself, right...for not setting your pup up for success by crating, using small area confinement, total supervision etc., until he/she is taught what is appropriate for chewing.<br> <br> To a puppy or dog everything is a chew toy unless the smarter animal (human) teaches otherwise, and it's quite easy to do using positive reinforcement.
