I pushed and pushed and pushed to get someone in customer service to say the word "Georgia state tariff rate" instead of just "Basic Service"... Sadly, the Georgia state tariff rate is $17.55; that's a whole bunch of $$$ for something I only need to keep my alarm system working. If anyone in the greater Atlanta has anything different, please post it.<br> <br> Also, if someone from the phone company tells you that you're required to have long distance service, they're lying.
