I am in shock. The new movie, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, opens next month in select cities and the cost of the movie is a shocking $20!
I couldn't believe it when I saw the price. Now, it comes with a "free" T-shirt, but you don't have a choice to get the ticket without the shirt, so how "free" is that?
Clark has talked about how expensive the American Girl doll and clothes are, but $20 for a movie? It's billed as a mystery, but the only mystery to me is why someone would pay that much to see a movie. It stars the little cutie Abigail Breslin, who was in one of my favorite movies: Little Miss Sunshine. I think I'd rather go to one of those cheap $1/day movie rentals in a grocery store and watch Sunshine 20 times rather than pay once for Kit.
$20?! That'd pay for 2 pair of jeans at Steve and Barry's or even a couple gallons of gas.
You can tell my opinion about this. What would you pay to see an American Girl movie?
