Our motto at Team Clark is to educate and empower the consumers to resolve their own issues.

Team Clark volunteers staff our phones and can be reached at 404.892.8227 from 10AM to 7PM ET Monday through Friday. We have over 100 regular volunteers, answering 6,000 calls and 1,500 e-mails per month, plus many letters and faxes.

The volunteers in the Consumer Action Center come from many different professions and are chosen for being consumer savvy. Some of our experienced professionals are:
  • Mortgage Brokers
  • CPAs
  • IRS Agents
  • Lawyers
  • Bankers
  • State Employees
  • Professors
  • Chief Executives
  • And many others
To stay current on the latest federal and state consumer legislation, Team Clark has professional seminars regularly. These seminars are presented by offices of the state government, trade associations and consumer help organizations such as the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs, FTC, CCCS and Equifax, among others.

When is the best time to reach us?
  • Our busiest time for e-mails is Monday morning, so it could take longer to get an answer.
  • The best time to call the Center is after 4 PM daily. So if you get a busy signal, please try us at a less busy time.

This week's poll
Many recent college grads don't know how to dress professionally for work. Have you ever thought someone in your workplace was dressed inappropriately?
Yes. I've seen co-workers in outfits that show way too much skin.
No. I work in a very relaxed environment and anything goes.
Maybe. Some clothing I've seen on the job is questionable.
